Sam Casson

I studied Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam and completed junior rotations in an acute hospital and outpatient trust. In 2018 I commenced work as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist, in this time I gained experience in trauma and orthopaedics, GP clinics, community outpatient settings and rheumatology. From 2020 I began working in an extended scope/ First contact physiotherapy role in primary care, seeing patients at the first point of contact and reducing the GP’s caseload.  

Recently I have moved into an Advanced clinical practitioner role providing advanced assessment and management of primary care patients. I am also an injection therapist and Non-medical prescriber.

Furthermore,  have worked with high profile athletes in elite sport within professional football, semi-professional rugby, international American football and British gymnastics,
